Are mediations confidential?

Yes, everyone attending the mediation agrees to confidentiality. Statements made during mediation are confidential and usually inadmissible in future actions.

How long does mediation last?

A typical mediation can last from a few hours to an entire day or longer. Many mediators have a minimum two hour fee. Most mediations are resolved in one meeting but additional sessions can be scheduled by an agreement of the parties.
